position may be located in San Diego, CA.COI Ceramics (COIC), a
part of Northrop Grumman's Space Components Business Unit, leads
the industry in the development, fabrication and production of High
Temperature Ceramic Matrix Composite Components and test
articles.(Wet Layup/Tooling Technician)Successful candidate will be
responsible for the following:Primary duties:Use of vacuum bagging
processes.Lay-up of composite structuresHandling and managing
fragile composite materials.Report data and interface with other
employees and departmentsTooling preparation and release
application.Loading autoclave cure vessels. (Max 150 psi)Loading
operating oven(s).Loading operating high temperature
furnacesUtilize measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and
tape measures for fabricating hardware.Assist in maintaining
overall shop appearance and cleanliness. Basic Qualifications for
Manufacturing Technician 1:High School diploma or equivalent and 0
years additional education and/or related experience.Demonstrated
mechanical ability.Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50
pounds.Ability to be on feet for up to 8+ hours each day.Ability to
work overtime and weekends as needed.Ability to obtain a DOD
Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship as a
pre-requisite.Must be flexible to work 2nd Shift as neededBasic
Qualifications for Manufacturing Technician 2:High School diploma
or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related
experienceComposites manufacturing experience required; ceramic
composites materials industry experience preferred.Demonstrated

Security Clearance"Salary Range: $39,900 USD - $66,500 USDSalary
Range 2: $47,600 USD - $79,300 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
