Description:Hiring Carded Electrical Trainees for a La Jolla Commercial TI project. ETs will assist Journeyman Electricians with installing high end lighting systems while maintaining compliance with national, state and local electrical codes.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the installation, repair, maintenance and testing of commercial lighting systems.
• Use industry related hand tools and power tools
• Assist with measuring, cutting, bending, threading, pulling and installing wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems
• Work with an Electrician to splice and terminate wires at junction points
• Duties include cleanup, gathering and transporting materials to construction site
• Demonstrate a level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers and vendors.DESIRE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Currently an Electrician Trainee that holds an active card. Knowledge of electrical theory, basic circuits, branch circuits and specialty systems Knowledge of tools and equipment and how to safely use themPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs from ground and pull 50lbs of force
  • Must be able to perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit bending
  • Must be able to fully squat, stop or kneel while wearing a 25lb tool belt
  • Must be able to maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires
  • Must be be comfortable and be able to maneuver in attic and crawlspaceSkills & Qualifications:
    • Must have 3 years of Electrical Experience on a commercial level
    • Preferably Tenant Improvement experience
    • Active ET card
    • Scissor lift cert preferred
