UX Research Lab Technician

Job Description:

Kforce is immediately adding a full-time UX Research Lab Technician in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that user experience test lab equipment, including PCs, mobile phones, audio-visual equipment, peripherals, is functioning properly to support in-person research activities
The UX Research Lab Technician will set up and support labs and/or conference rooms for user experience research tests
Be responsible for proper set-up, tear-down, tracking, and storage of research lab equipment
Work with software development teams to obtain and install pre-release software development builds for user testing
The UX Research Lab Technician will work with researchers to understand lab requirements for various testing scenarios
Participate in research activities, such as observing and taking notes on user reactions
