The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for creating and refining business and systems requirements to address business opportunities and formulating documentation to support the development and implementation of Cozeva as a Quality tool. This position plays a major role in the development and implementation of core business systems. In addition, the Sr. Business Systems Analyst serves as the liaison between Optum Care Delivery Organizations and the technology team to understand user needs and develop required reporting and data analysis. They serve as a subject matter expert. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Facilitating and coordinating Cozeva implementation activities to include, but not limited to, Business Decision Checklist, User Acceptance Test, UI validation, Measure validation, data provenance mapping, and health plan submission discovery Client management for supported CDOs throughout the year, including clear communication and presentation, serving as a subject matter expert, management and resolution of challenges and issues in operational sustainment, and status reporting that meets their needs Management and communication within Clinical Performance Quality organization (for relevant business partners including supplemental data program and pod leaders) to set clear expectations, communicate relevant information timely, and to support adequate training/education of the Cozeva tool overall as well as enhancements and new BRDs Create and, at minimum, annually review standard operating procedures, business requirements gathering, enhancement request, and scope of work request for expansion of existing services Develops or assists in the development of work plans, time schedules, and project task items and schedules and assists with estimating resource needs for analysts, data engineer and program managers You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 4-year degree or commensurate experience 5 years of field/care delivery experience Background in HEDIS/quality Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Applications Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree CPHQ Certification Experience in Software as a solution implementations Proven advanced analytical skills Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem-solving Careers with Optum. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, Washington or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, Washington or New York City residents is $85,000 to $167,300.
