The Optical Consultant Floater travels throughout the regions to provide optical coverage at clinics as needed. Designs, measures, fits, and adapts lenses and frames for patient according to written optical prescription or specification. Assist patient with selecting frames. Measure customer for size of eyeglasses and coordinate frames with facial and eye measurements and optical prescription. Prepare work order for optical laboratory containing instructions for grinding and mounting lenses in frames. Verify exactness of finished lens spectacles. Adjust frame and lens position to fit client. May shape or reshape frames.

REQUIRED: At least 3 or more years of related work experience as an Optician / Optical Consultant, dispensing contact lenses and glasses. Ability to travel to clinics within a day's notice.
DESIRABLE: Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
