Description:

• Perform hardwire copper hook ups on equipment found in accommodation areas of the ship.
• Hook up on lighting, hardware, junction and connection boxes, power panels and various other components and equipment found onboard ships.
• May also be asked to pull and route cable on occasion.
• Cable installation, termination experience onboard US Navy vessels.
• Connector certifications a plus but not mandatory.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and written technical instructions, manuals and draw/make basic working diagrams and circuits.
• Fully versed in the use of all types of electrical measuring instruments and various electronic measuring devices, such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and power analyzers.
• Ability to use the following measuring tools: Fluke 87 DMM, Simpson 260, Digital Megohmmeter, and Clamp-On Ammeter.Skills:
