Description:
- Perform hardwire copper hook ups on equipment found in
accommodation areas of the ship.
- Hook up on lighting, hardware, junction and connection boxes,
power panels and various other components and equipment found
onboard ships.
- May also be asked to pull and route cable on occasion.
- Cable installation, termination experience onboard US Navy
vessels.
- Connector certifications a plus but not mandatory.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and written technical
instructions, manuals and draw/make basic working diagrams and
circuits.
- Fully versed in the use of all types of electrical measuring
instruments and various electronic measuring devices, such as
voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and power analyzers.
- Ability to use the following measuring tools: Fluke 87 DMM,
Simpson 260, Digital Megohmmeter, and Clamp-On Ammeter.Skills:
