SUMMARY
Provides for the analysis of inventory, identification of problems
and processing of performance measurement data. Also provides
corrective action recommendations, training support, transaction
analysis, process analysis, data entry, plus other
administrative.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The position reports to the Manager of Warehousing or his designee.
Maintains a close and supportive working relationship with each
Warehousing Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work occurs in both an outdoor shipyard environment and in an
office setting. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception, and the ability to focus. Regularly required to sit,
use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and
communicate verbally and in writing.
Requires ability to commute physically to various areas of the
shipyard including but not limited to shipboard activities. Must be
capable of ascending/descending stairs or ladders, walking on
uneven surfaces, and transiting through manholes and other
confined, congested spaces. Physical dexterity must allow for
bending and reaching. Must remain alert and comply with all safety
requirements.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is
exposed occasionally to dust, fumes, and smoke. Must be able to
spend up to 50% of time in an outdoor shipyard environment in all
climates. The noise level is relatively low to moderate in office
environments. The noise level in the outdoor shipyard production
environment is moderate to noisy 70% of time, which may include
sirens, horns, chipping, and hammering.
Additional requirements: Position requires the ability to walk on
scaffolding and work at heights aboard vessels under construction
or repair, employees to carry, raise, lower, push or pull objects
up to 50 lbs, and the ability to distinguish color.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountable for providing accurate, timely, and informative
inventory analysis. Accountable for keeping all supervisors, and
managers up to date on effectiveness of corrective actions.
Accountable for inventory file integrity.
Payscale: $ 48,200 - $67,300
This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for
this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors
considered in making compensation decisions; including but not
limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education. General
