The role of the Associate
Construction Manager of Unit Renovations is to establish the unit
renovations scopes and budgets with the Acquisition teams and Asset
Managers.Execute the Unit Renovations CapEx Business Plan within
budget and on schedule.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesData Analysis and
Strategic Planning
Reviews industry standard reports to
identify trends and make strategic recommendations to Asset
Managers.Generates reports using analytical tools to monitor
performance on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.Financial
Management and Planning
Assists with developing and executing
operating budgets, capital investment plans, leasing/marketing.
plans, and cost control strategies to maximize value.Supports risk
management strategies to minimize potential losses.Project
Management
Assists with managing construction
and/or rehab projects to ensure timely and successful
completion.Due Diligence
Assists with conducting due diligence
to support property acquisitions and/or dispositions.Performs
various job duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Asset
Management to support the portfolio and achieve organizational
goals.Abilities
Be able to make decisions by
utilizing best judgment, meet targets, and work under pressure.
Strong multi-tasking skills and extreme attention to
detail.Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and
interpersonal. Highly organized self-starter with the ability to
take direction and follow-through.Ability to apply best practices
to facilitate successful completion of projects. Sense of urgency,
comfort with ambiguity, drive for results, and ability to remain
true to the company's brand and image. Proficient with spreadsheets
and other business software such as Microsoft Excel & Word. ---
Qualifications
- 2-3 years' experience in multifamily unit renovations.
- Experience in Property Management.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and managerial skills.
- Demonstrated initiative - ability to think, work, and make
independent decisions based on sound judgment.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Multifamily property management software such as
RealPage and Yardi.
- Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft
Office suite, and other online programsPhysical DemandsThe physical

- Ability to travel on a weekly and bi-weekly basis to all
markets in assigned regions

range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 with potential for a
