*Job Team: Facilities Maintenance Technician - Lifting 30lbs or Less, Moderate Machine Operation**Location: San Diego, CA - 92154**Duration: 06 Months (possible extension)**Shift: 1st Shift**Description:*-- Performs maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, or vehicle servicing.-- Knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in area(s) of specialty.-- May require a high school diploma and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.-- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.-- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.-- Performs a variety of tasks; certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.-- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.*Special Considerations:*-- Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions.-- Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated.-- Operation of a powered industrial truck is considered at least industrial and may be considered heavy as determined by other exposures.Job Types: Temporary, Contract, Full-timeSalary: Up to $24.00 per hourSchedule:* 5x8* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayWork setting:* In-personAbility to commute/relocate:* San Diego, CA 92154: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
