Career Area: Digital Job Description: Caterpillar Inc. seeks Senior Digital Consultants at its facility located at 5205 N. O'Connor Boulevard, Irving, TX 75039 and San Diego, CA. Multiple Openings JOB DESCRIPTION: Will support enterprise growth through representing and/or deploying a set of Caterpillar's world class eBusiness solutions with our enterprise, industry and/or Dealer partners. Will build strong understanding of the marketing and business objectives of multiple business units, industry groups. Will apply industry knowledge while consulting with dealers and other various industry partners. Will be responsible for the execution of Caterpillar platformers and/or capabilities using strong working knowledge of eBusiness capabilities as they pertain/connect to aligned capabilities. Will work with industry groups and provide consulting services as it pertains to Caterpillar capabilities and business. Will work with appropriate business unit, industry group and/or Dealer contacts to drive digital execution within the framework of enterprise tools, processes and strategies. Will interact extensively with appropriate digital team members, capability owners, data owners and analytics in order to understand the appropriate capabilities, integration points and deployment status as well as providing business requirements back into the M&D organization. Will initiate digital projects and activities to identify linkages and synergies across business units, industries and/or Dealers Will drive proper collaboration, coordination, training, communication and alignment among related areas, projects and strategies within the team and with internal and/or Dealer partners. Will drive efforts related to future-focused assessment of global and industry impact related to digital programs and deployments and helps provide direction. Will interact and gain experience with digital capabilities to develop strong digital acumen to communicate with partners and stakeholders. Position may be performed remotely from home, office anywhere in the United States. REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Management Information Systems / Information Systems Management; Computer Information Systems; Computer Science, or a closely related field and 3 years of experience working in eBusiness, digital marketing, technical marketing, or corporate analytics. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Management Information Systems / Information Systems Management; Computer Information Systems; Computer Science, or a closely related field and 5 years of experience working in eBusiness, digital marketing, technical marketing, or corporate analytics. Position also requires 3 years of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) performing analytics and reporting using Adobe Analytics and Adobe Experience Manager; converting functional requirement documentation to technical requirement documents; initiating digital projects and initiatives; and direct working experience in an Agile environment and with IT languages including specifically Java and Python.
