Shift: Day Shift
Compensation: $30/hr

Position Description:
Solar Turbines, a Caterpillar Company, is seeking a Quality Test Technician to join our team in San Diego. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tests and inspections on gas turbine and compressor packages to ensure they meet established quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

--- Conducting functional testing on electronic and mechanical systems to verify performance and identify defects or malfunctions.
--- Analyzing test results to identify and diagnose issues and document findings.
--- Collaborating with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.

Requirements:
--- High school diploma or equivalent required.
--- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality testing role, preferably in an industrial manufacturing or similar environment.
--- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and procedures, including functional testing, acceptance testing, and reliability testing.
--- Familiarity with electronic and mechanical systems, including motors, generators, switchgear, and control systems.
--- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, schematics, and drawings.
--- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
--- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
--- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
