On call rotation: 1 week, including weekends out of the month.

Early morning check in: 7am PST, 1 week every 2 months.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

The Applications Support Analyst will be responsible for providing end user support and training for Tandem's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and financial system. This role is responsible for creating and delivering training sessions for end users using specific software tools. The Applications Support Analyst will also gather end user system requirements, propose, and implement solutions, and train end users on system changes.

  • Documents case issues and fixes in the IT ticketing system.
  • Acts as Service Desk liaison to the Business Enterprise Applications team in order to understand system changes, upgrades, and overall implementation scope.
  • Follows up with various IT teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and accurately.
  • Tracks and reports on end user issues to the Business Enterprise Applications and IT management teams with the goal of influencing future system enhancements.
  • Reviews business system processes and recommend enhancements to improve workflows and end user experience.
  • Builds queries and reports, monitors system queues and activities.
  • Processes system customizations and minor changes or improvements.
  • Provides end user support for the Company's CRM and financial systems
  • Responds to calls and emails from end users and serves as escalation point for other Service Desk team members.
  • Assists in the management of system user accounts; creates and deletes accounts as needed.
  • Assists with general IT Service Desk support and/or IT projects as needed.
  • Creates and delivers training materials for system changes and upgrades to the business.
  • Creates and maintains a database of common problems and solutions; shares and provides training to other IT team members.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned. YOU'RE AWESOME AT:
    • B.S. in computer science or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience useful.
    • 6 months of experience in an IT support role.
    • 6 months of experience providing business applications support.
    • Knowledge of database, software, and business systems.
    • Ability to operate tools and components.
    • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
    • Ability to conduct research into business applications and products as required.
    • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
    • Ability to transfer business knowledge & experience to support specific business applications.
    • Strong customer-service orientation.
    • Skilled at presenting information in a clear, concise manner to all levels within the department.
    • Skilled at contributing on a consistent basis to team initiatives in a thorough and timely manner.
    • Ability to participate in an on-call queue outside of regular work hours in order to ensure uptime of mission critical systems is maintained.
    • Ability to react to changing situations in a timely, calm, and confident manner. EXTRA AWESOME:
      • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and AX preferred.

        COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

        The starting base pay range for this position is $58K - $72K annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate's location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus, equity, and a robust benefits package.

        Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts.
