Job Description The Production Controls Supervisor will support
production readiness, work authorization, and materials and service
planning activities for our San Diego Ship Repair business. In this
role, you will support the controlling, coordinating, and
prioritizing the flow of material in operations. This position will
support the execution of strategies and initiatives to ensure
product is coordinated, monitored, and completed for the
availability according to schedule and demands.Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
Evaluate production schedule and
coordinate the availabilityCoordinate with material requirements
teams to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials meet
production requirementConfirm resources and capabilities are
optimized to meet material supply and demandPrepare work orders or
purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or
partsAdvise management of the status of work in progress, material
availability, and potential production problemSchedule equipment
and personnel to meet production demandCoordinate with Leadership
to resolve production planning and control issues and provide
corrective actionsEnsure compliance with all company and OSHA
regulated safety, environmental, and ethical
requirements/standardsSupport the execution of Lean and Six Sigma
through the application of continuous improvement and waste
elimination efforts throughout the departmentUtilize Material
Resource Planning (MRP) system to accurately plan production
resourcesSupport the training and development of teamPreferred
Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of
equivalent experienceExperience in Manufacturing, Shipbuilding,
Ship Repair, or relatedAbility to support production planning,
scheduling, resource allocation, and controllingAbility to support
process improvements and organizational changePay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
