This position, under general direction is responsible for preparing complex business analyses, developing and monitoring UAV Program budgets, analyzing cost, schedule and performance variances, cash flow modeling, subcontract financial management, financial forecasting and reporting. This position assists management in supporting DCMA, DCAA and external audits. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, with the capacity to provide ad hoc reporting and analysis. DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES: Prepares budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for UAV Programs to manage and monitor program financial performance. Perform sfinancial analysis and reporting of cost and schedule performance utilizing Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Performs Cash Flow modeling and analysis at the program level and at a consolidated business level. Interface with Accounting to monitor contract payments and minimize unbilled costs. Supports and participates in Program Management Reviews. Reviews and analyzes subcontractor financial reports to ensure that EVMS compliance and accuracy in representation of program status. Provides management with an assessment of the costs and schedule status, issues, concerns, management reserve, risks and projected profit. Conducts monthly financial reviews with subcontractor program/financial management and track corrective actions through completion. Assists in the development and review of subcontractor WBS and financial reporting requirements. Exercises considerable judgment within broadly defined practices and precedents to contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards to ensure financial planning and cost control activities meet overall objectives. Responds to inquiries, identifies issues, and guides the development on innovative solutions to complex and diverse challenges concerning a variety of financial data, some of which contain confidential and sensitive information, which require tact and discretion in handling. Makes internal and external presentations and may represent the company as the primary financial contact. Provides training, mentoring and direction to less experienced Financial Analyst. Interfaces with DCMA, DCAA and external auditors on a variety of audit inquiries. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
