CSA Guidance Consulting is currently seeking an FRD 100 Program Support Analyst to directly support a federal client in San Diego, CA. This is a two (2) month contract position with a possibility of extension and/or full-time hire beyond the initial employment period. Key Duties & Role Description: * Provide on-site direct analyst support to the NAVSSI APM in managing the day-to-day activities of assigned programs. * Meetings: Schedule meetings, draft agendas, record minutes and action items, manage and maintain action item trackers, coordinate completion of action items with internal and external stakeholders, attend and participate in meetings, and represent the program in APM---s absence. * Financial and Programmatic Documents: Develop and maintain annual spend plans and POM submissions, develop program briefs, correspondence, and initiatives relating to NAVSSI or FRD 100 projects, issues, and proposals. * Monitor and maintain program performance metrics and identify risks at the APM level in the areas of technical, cost, schedule, quality, staffing, and trouble/casualty reporting. * Research and review existing processes for improvement opportunities, conduct related studies and analyses of processes, and prepare and present synopses of recommended process improvements. * Expertly manage client relationships and expectations to assure quality is superior in all deliverables. * Coordinate closely with the FRD 100 Team/Task Lead in execution of duties. Basic Qualifications: * Must hold an active Department of Defense-issued Secret security clearance or higher * 2+ years' relevant DoD experience in a Navy program office (PMA, PMW, or PMS experience preferred). * Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to work with clients, team members, and management staff, including both DoD civilian, uniformed military, and contractor personnel * Experience working as a member of a diverse team of subject matter experts * Flexibility to cope with dynamic high-pressure environments and short-fused or rapidly changing deadlines * Ability to effectively work both independently and as a collaborative team member * Analytical problem solver with a high attention to detail * Must be organized and process oriented * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University * Intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Word and Project (preferred) * Advanced-level experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Applicants may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active United States Department of Defense security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
