Our company has an immediate need for an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect - Secret Clearance in San Diego, California. Enterprise Infrastructure Architect: Responsible for designing and implementing information systems that will support the enterprise infrastructure of the organization. Analyzes system requirements and defines system architecture that will meet business needs, including server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements, and networking protocols. Ensures that architecture project roll-outs meet security standards and be effectively integrated with current applications. May supervise and guide the work of lower-level architects. Works on the largest and most complex infrastructure architecture projects. Work with multiple teams to automate, design, and architect private/public cloud-based infrastructure to support Development, Model Office systems & Production Systems. Essential Functions* Define and Document architectural models that show how the current and future technology needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.* Leads the development, prepares recommendation and secures approval of infrastructure architecture for Development and Model Office Environments. Serves as the cross-platform technical subject matter expert and provides consulting support to other Engineering teams.* Establish standards and repeatable processes for managing change across environments, taking advantage of innovative cloud technologies, DevOps tools and practices.* Develop tools and strategies for networking, monitoring, and automating infrastructure to support DEV and MO Environments.* Build integrations between services to create fully automated processes. Make heavy use of tools like HPNA. UMCDB, HP OO and ServiceNow to extend management and orchestration capabilities* Make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve enterprise system scalability, efficiency, and reliability.* Facilitate testing and validation of IT applications and systems, which includes multiple dependent projects across multiple functional areas and technology platforms. Keep systems and data secure at all times, complying with the latest Government security standards. Qualifications What is needed / required:* Experience with building enterprise-class systems. You build servers to scale, for redundancy, and with excellent security practices.* Experience in IT Infrastructure implementation or lifecycle development, planning, documenting, validating and testing technical solutions in a global enterprise setting* IT Service Delivery experience implementing and utilizing ITIL processes.* 10 Years of overall IT experience in developing IT infrastructure Solutions as a lead engineer or Architect* Experience with infrastructure automation and production grade IaaS* Have a passion for automation. Automate everything- if possible.* Must be a United States Citizen* Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one* Must be 8570 compliance (Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional)* Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time Core Competencies:* ITSM Process and Tools - ServiceNow a Plus* Experience in Automation Tool - HP Operations Orchestration* Public cloud services - AWS, Azure, etc.* Expertise with MS SQL Server* Strong aptitude for good design* Knowledge of large-scale performance and optimization tools and techniques* Agile development practices #LI EEO Tagline: Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories
