Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Logistics Management
Analyst in the San Diego, CA area to conduct preventative and
corrective maintenance on SCUBA equipment. Maintenance will be done
as mandated by OPNAV Instruction 4790 and as scheduled in 3M for
over 2,000 open circuit items including SCUBA tanks, regulators,
air compressors, Haskel oxygen charging booster pumps and kits,
diagnostic test equipment and tools, buoyancy compensators, surface
swim life preservers, depth gauges, pressure gauges, underwater
communications equipment, full face diving masks and DLSS
-Perform documentation of SCUBA diving equipment maintenance and
portable diving equipment for certification program.
-Overhaul and setting proper limits for 200 breathing
-Visually inspect interior, exterior, and ensure proper hydrostatic
testing of high pressure air cylinders, as well as overhaul of
cylinder manifolds and valves.
-Maintain Diving Life Support System (DLSS) equipment IAW US Navy
Dive Manual and ensure proper functionality of all flotation
devices and their emergency activation systems.
-Assist with the preventative and corrective maintenance of the MK
25 UBA and support equipment.
-Perform maintenance documentation and administer PMS SKED computer
-Inventory repair parts and project needs for procurement. Solicit
quotes from vendors and provide to Government personnel for
-Conduct spot-inventories of diving equipment.
-Perform customer service for issue and receipt of equipment.
-Possess Navy Dive School certification (NEC 5342/5342 or
-Possess qualification as Material Maintenance Management (3M)
Maintenance Man, 3M QA Craftsman, and 3M Work Center
-Possess certification as factory trained technician for diving
equipment within inventory, DLSS Re-Entry Control (REC) Supervisor,
oxygen clean system worker, and MK 25 UBA maintenance
technician.-Possess excellent work ethic, verbal and written
communication skills, and be detailed and accurate in performing
-Have direct knowledge of installation level and strategic support
logistic programs and systems that relate to logistic capability
-Be able to operate a standalone computer without assistance and be
proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
-Possess a valid, unencumbered state driver's license.
-Be able to drive Government-owned trucks, forklifts and vans. No
CDL license required.
-Be able to perform duties independently, with minimal
-Able to enter data into multiple databases and ensure data is
maintained and retrieve data and use data to respond to a variety
of customer and vendor inquiries.
-Able to compile and analyze data to identify trends, deficiencies,
and accomplishments related to the assigned programs.
-Able to perform research to determine reasons for patterns of
transaction errors and failures.
-Able to research problems surfaced by customers; resolve issues or
route to appropriate Government personnel with information setting
forth research findings.
-Able to conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to
complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns; assemble
retrieved information into different formats to meet different
requirements; for example, status reports, unmet customer needs,
and other similar areas.
-Able to analyze the results of applying guidelines to difficult
situations and recommend changes.
-Able to review existing automated system(s) to determine
feasibility for improvement.
