The Manager, Sales Technology will work closely with the North America Sales team to identify, evaluate and implement sales tools and technology. This role is responsible for the evolution of sales tools with an emphasis on deploying ruthlessly simple workflows. This role will support Commercial Excellence in the development of optimized business solutions and workflows, focusing on optimizing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution as used by Sales. The successful candidate will have experience in roadmap planning , refinement, sales technology strategies and a proven record in executing.
Let's talk about Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing the sales organization with the information, content, expertise, and tools to help sales people sell more effectively
  • Integrate the portfolio and user experience of current sales tools, and lead the evaluation/implementation of future needs
  • Cultivate relationships with Sales and their cross-functional partners to align on ways to optimize interactions, increase collaboration--and to synthesize technology roadmaps
  • Provide vision and strategic direction to the agile development team and stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder relations and expectations through ideation to deployment to post-deployment analysis phases
  • Work with the Business Analyst to
    • Define the stories and tasks for prioritized enhancement requests; stories and tasks to be correct and comprehensive with articulated expected business value, including validated acceptance criteria and success metrics
    • Ensure requests are analyzed, interpreted and reported on post-deployment
    • Obtain sign-off on feature completion in sprint review and UAT phases from stakeholders prior to releasing features to production
    • Deliver effective sales user training
    • Partners with Solutions Architect to ensure technical elements of the sales tools remain relevant, efficient, optimized and scalable; any enhancements required to improve the architecture are prioritized in addition to all stakeholder needs
    • Embrace a culture of experimentation, brainstorming and collaboration to evolve the team structure, including engagement and partnership with the AGILE team as the operating model transforms to support the business strategy
    • Hands-on, self-directed professional who plans, prepares and executes professionally
      Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience
      • 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role
      • Background in transformation CRM initiatives
      • Demonstrated ability to implement, drive, track and communicate on multi-faced sales tools implementations
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Strong expectation management, influencing and conflict resolution skills
      • Strong ability to collaborate across functions, build relationships and manage effectively in a matrix organization
      • Understanding of quote to cash value stream
      • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
      • Skilled in project planning, budget estimation and management, resource planning and assessment, financial planning and risk assessment
      • Advanced knowledge of process evaluation and selection of products, tools, services and infrastructure components in line with an organization's business needs and architectural principles
      • Creative thinker with a vision
      • Well-organized and detail oriented
      • Demonstrated ability to select and manage external vendors
        Preferred:
        • Previous roles supporting the sales function
        • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related area and / or equivalent experience / training
        • Project Management Institutes' (PMI) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
        • Working experience with BI solutions such as Cognos, Tableau and SiSense
