Job Description:

Sales Associate needed for a large scale porcelain tile manufacturer. The Associate is responsible for selling, promoting and specifying porcelain tile products to contractors, builders, dealers, architects, and designers. He/she is also responsible for all sales merchandising, technical information, customer product knowledge, and evaluating the area's market needs and business conditions in their territory. This role will also require traveling throughout the assigned territory DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:--

• Target, call on, and develop relationships with major builders, contractors, dealers, architects, designers and other channels.
• Identify and set up new accounts to increase market share as well as manage/build sales of existing accounts.
• Meet & exceed sales goals and report all sales activities to management. (Results, reports, calls, weekly plans, forecasts etc.)--
• Set up product displays at dealer / designer locations and modify as appropriate.
• Attend trade shows and other special events to promote various products.--
• Keep clients informed about new products and offerings as well as resolving any client concerns and complaints. REQUIREMENTS-- COMPETENCIES: At least 2 years of experience in the Tile / Natural stone sector and at least 4 years of direct sales. Computer skills include functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and Quickbooks. Expertise and experience selling to Builder community is a plus. Excellent understanding of design and color. Ability to travel up to 50%-- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs Drivers License required with a clean driving record and must have reliable transportation.-- RIGHT TO WORK: Must have legal right to work in the USA
