Position: Sr. Manager, Sales Operations

Position SummaryThe Sr Manager, Sales Operations position is an important part of the team, that leads the processes put in place to help oversee the health of key retail accounts on behalf of our clients. In addition to driving the health of existing accounts, the person in this role also provides the Sales team with the necessary tools and insights to help our clients businesses grow. The role will have a high level of interaction with our clients and co-workers, responsible for advising on strategy and solving various problems that come across the desk. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales team to build and update revenue and trade spend forecasts for all client portfolio
  • Assist Coworkers and clients with ad hoc trade spend analysis requests
  • Provides monthly and quarterly forecast vs. actual updates to team and Client, giving clarity on how client sales are tracking to goal
  • Demonstrate problem solving abilities and come up with creative solutions for client and teammate issues that arise
    • Develop and maintain relationships with Sales Team, Client, Costco ICS, assistant buyers and buyers
    • Facilitate the implementation of Sales execution plan for clients new to MMS or new to Costco
    • Oversee pricing and promotional management. Purchase order entry, PO tracking. Demo accrual tracking and spend management
    • Liaison with Costco order personnell and manage all customer service duties between client and Costco Requirements:
      • 4+ years of post-secondary education (preferred completion of bachelor's degree
      • 5+ years of CPG industry experience (preferred but not required)
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Powerpoint
      • Experience working with Costco or similar retailer (preferred but not required)
        • Ability to work independently and meet goals that have been established
        • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teammates in a productive manner
        • Ability to be flexible in daily routine and tackle new tasks with self- motivation and initiative. Reporting Structure:

            • Works collaboratively with other colleagues in sales operations as well as Sales team Compensation:
              • Salary commensurate with level of experience and current market landscape
