Job Description:

The primary role of the *Sales Coordinator* is to provide a wide range of hotel administrative support that will enable the property sales and event managers to focus on revenue generating activities.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:* In support of the property sales team individual will greet visitors, answer phone calls, intake and process incoming lead information, handle reservation requests, research group billing inquiries, gather data as needed, compile reports, maintain files and prepare correspondence* Interact with group, catering, and business travel customers in person, via email, and over the phone to qualify and assist existing and future customers.* Maintain communication with group customers regarding the status of their group room block. This may include entering rooming lists, monitoring pick-up status, reporting status of current pickup, providing cutoff date alerts and making individual rooming list reservation changes.* Build Group Blocks and Masters in R&I and OnQPMS systems.* Assist sales managers with duties as needed including but not limited to initial billing inquiries, commission payments, no-show status, sales system research, Hilton Honors point administration, and scheduling appointments.* Assist managers with RFP responses, proposals, contracts, BEOs, and meeting arrangements as needed.* Upload and maintain the group files within the sales system for all group bookings at the property level. This includes ensuring signed agreements are uploaded when all bookings are turned to definite bookings.* Maintain inventory and create printed and electronic collateral to include coupons, flyers, and branded sales and marketing pieces as needed.* Participate in hotel team meetings* Provide additional administrative assistance as directed.* Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.* Gift Certificates & Amenity Requests* Maintain positive inner-hotel relationships with all hotel departments to expedite efficient communication.QUALIFICATIONS:* High school diploma or vocational secretarial required* Ability to read, write and speak English fluently* Previous sales, hospitality, and/or secretarial experience preferred* Must have *OnQPMS *experience* *R&I *experience highly preferred* *Delphi* experience highly preferred* Basic knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office skills* Present a professional appearance and confidence* Positive attitude and good communication skills* Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contract* Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team membersJob Type: Full-timePay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to FridayExperience:* Hotel: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
