Residential Remodeling and Design sales experience extremely
beneficial.
As a Project Sales Consultant, your position focus is to
successfully complete the sale of design-build remodeling projects
and assist the Lars Remodeling & Design team in providing the
highest level of service to our clients. Engage, assess, and
procure new clients through self-promotion and/or leads generated.
Meet with prospective clients, assess project goals, provide
detailed estimates, delivering the highest level of customer
service possible based on Lars Remodeling & Design standards.
Uphold our focus to provide our clients with an industry
professional, not a salesman, at the initial point of contact, and
build relationships to work with that person throughout the
duration of their home remodeling project.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide in-home consultations with prospective clients.
Establish rapport and secure customer appointments in-home and at
Lars Remodeling & Design Showroom for various meetings/
reviews.
Able to perform moderate tasks without supervision, or difficult
tasks with supervision.
Create and provide detailed quotes related to home remodeling to
potential clients in a timely, efficient manner.
Educate potential clients on the comprehensive design service
provided by the company.
Manage the sales and project management process for the lifecycle
of each individual home remodeling project.
Must have a general understanding of the home remodeling industry,
be able to assess and manage individual client expectations and
needs, and work closely with them to translate the vision they have
for their home into a solid design plan alongside the Lars
team.
Report updates on a regular basis to the Vice President at the
weekly Design meetings.
Coordinate on an ongoing basis with the team to provide exceptional
after-sales service to clients.
Engage with clients via any communication available such as but not
limited to; personal or telephone conversations, emails, and text
messages.
Educate potential clients on all company-sponsored finance options
available to them.
Transition prospects into clients via Design Agreements. (15% of
leads to Design Agreement)
Once the vision and design goals are reached, work with the
potential client to convert the project into contract and provide a
complete, individualized design solution based on identified
customer needs to close the sale (80% of Design Agreements into
Contract)
Maintain potential client follow-up, lead pipeline
Cultivate and self-generated leads/ sales for Lars Remodeling &
Design
Must be able to sell 2 million dollars annually (Initial year),
2.5m (thereafter)
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in field measures at the client's home working
alongside the Lars Remodeling & Design team.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members to
collaborate to complete the task at hand.
Proactively work with marketing team to participate in Lars home
remodeling webinar taping with the ability to perform presentations
being knowledgeable of all topics discussed.
Contribute to the development and on-going upkeep of the teams
design portfolio.
Participate at home shows as needed.
Engage with trades and vendors to network and grow a referral
base.
Maintain a positive attitude and work environment.
Involvement as required in all company-sponsored marketing and
training programs.
Upgrade knowledge on current design and color trends to create
fashionable design solutions.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Customer service/sales experience.
Experience in home sales of residential remodeling.
Construction and Project Management experience a plus.
Efficient at cost estimating.
Able to perform physical tasks such as but not limited to lifting
of heavy objects.
Proficient computer skills are a must.
Experience with Active Campaign, Builder Trend, and Chief Architect
is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and work reasonably well with
others.
Space planning and organizational skills.
Promote honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness.
Able to work a flexible work schedule when needed including
weekends and evenings.
Work overtime as needed.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Maintain a valid driver's license and must have reliable
transportation to commute to and from any and all client/business
appointments.
Time Management, able to efficiently handle multiple tasks
simultaneously.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Must be fluent in English
