Salesperson - Kearny Mesa Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Job Summary:

In this Sales role, you will sell automobiles by prospecting buyers as walk-ins, digital sales inquiries, and then closing sales.

Compensation:
Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage at the applicable minimum wage rate ($16.30), plus commissions. Commission amounts vary based on performance, but the expected average annual earnings are approx. $80,000 to $200,000. The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum pay range expected for this role. Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.

Responsibilities:
- Develops rapport with prospective buyers by approaching, greeting, and offering recommendations to customers that enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
- Overcoming sales objections by asking for sales, negotiating price and following up with potential buyers
- Understands Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram automobiles and stay current with product knowledge of new products and features to sell the benefits to buyers.
- Provide test drives to all buyer prospects while following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive of automobile.
- Prepare and delivers sold vehicles to customers while ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features and warranty.
- Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Manage book of business and drive referral-based business.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:
- Must be self-motivated and goal orientated to hit required dealership standards of productivity with sales goals on a monthly basis.
- Customer focused to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction for repeat business and referrals.
- Maintains professional appearance.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Must have valid California sales and drivers license

Physical Demands:
- Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 15 pounds.

Environment/Noise:
- Noise level is moderate.

Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
