Ryder, a leader in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a proactive and driven Rental Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This role is crucial for driving the growth of our rental fleet services, including trucks and other transport equipment. As a Rental Account Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their operational needs, and delivering customized logistics solutions that enhance their business processes. Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients. Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Provide expert knowledge of our fleet management and rental services to meet client needs. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring clients' satisfaction. Coordinate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure that client commitments are met. Conduct regular reviews to ensure client needs are being met and to adjust service plans as necessary. Prepare and present sales reports and market analysis to management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively. Strong negotiating skills and ability to close deals. In-depth knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry.
