Twitter . The Opportunity The Associate Director of Supply Planning
will lead the development and execution of supply planning
strategies across Avidity’s clinical and commercial programs. This
role is responsible for managing end-to-end planning processes to
ensure a reliable, efficient, and uninterrupted supply of materials
and products. This role will work cross-functionally with
Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and CMC teams to
support operational goals. This position requires a strategic
mindset, operational excellence in supply planning, and the ability
to scale planning systems and processes to support Avidity’s
transition from clinical to commercial stage operations. What You
Will Contribute Lead and manage the global supply planning process,
ensuring alignment between supply capabilities and commercial
demand forecasts. Develop long-range supply strategies that support
product launches and inventory targets while ensuring uninterrupted
patient supply. Serve as a key stakeholder in the Sales &
Operations Planning (S&OP) process for current and future
commercial products. Partner cross-functionally with CMC, Clinical
Operations, External Manufacturing, and Quality to develop and
maintain an integrated supply plan. Collaborate with External
Manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure timely production,
release, and delivery of process intermediates, drug substance,
drug product, finished goods, and ancillary materials. Own and
manage supply planning tools, models, and reports, including
inventory tracking/reconciliation and scenario planning. Identify
and monitor supply risks; develop mitigation strategies to ensure
supply continuity. Lead supply planning inputs for budgeting,
capacity planning, and risk management processes. Manage and mentor
supply planning staff or cross-functional project teams as needed.
What We Seek Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Life
Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 6
years of progressive experience in supply chain or supply planning
in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Proven experience
managing global supply planning processes. Experience in launch
planning and commercial supply planning. In-depth knowledge of best
practices across supply planning, including demand planning,
inventory management, risk mitigation, and CMO management.
Demonstrated success implementing and/or scaling planning systems
and processes. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a
strategic approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and
collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across
technical and non-technical teams. APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP)
is preferred. What We Will Provide To You The base salary range for
this role is $180,000 - $200,000. The final compensation will be
commensurate with relevant experience, skillset, internal equity,
and market factors. Avidity offers competitive compensation and
