Job Description Position Overview AEG is seeking a motivated Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician / Industrial Hygienist to support a variety of field-based industrial hygiene and environmental health projects. This is a role ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on field work, diverse project sites, and working directly with clients and project teams. Key Responsibilities Conduct industrial hygiene field activities including: Air, noise, and vapor sampling Asbestos, lead, mold, and other hazardous materials assessments Indoor air quality (IAQ) investigations Perform EHS inspections and compliance assessments at industrial and commercial facilities Set up, calibrate, and maintain sampling equipment Accurately document field observations, sampling data, and chain-of-custody records Assist with data interpretation and preparation of technical reports Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and site personnel Travel frequently to project sites (often multi-day assignments) Follow company health, safety, and quality procedures at all times Required Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field (or equivalent field experience) 1–5 years of relevant EHS or industrial hygiene field experience preferred Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and basic industrial hygiene principles Experience with field sampling equipment and data collection Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills Ability to work independently in field environments Willingness and ability to travel extensively Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug screening Preferred Certifications Industrial Hygienist in Training (IHIT) Asbestos Inspector, Air Sampling Professional, or Project Monitor Lead Inspector / Risk Assessor OSHA 40?Hour HAZWOPER (current) Physical & Field Requirements Ability to lift and carry sampling equipment Ability to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces and varying weather conditions Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Travel expenses fully covered (lodging, per diem, mileage/airfare) Overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Training, certification support, and career advancement opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer Advanced Environmental Group Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
