Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Category Management to
drive category growth through data-driven insights and retail
strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive category management strategy
to drive growth
Serve as a category thought leader, providing data-driven
recommendations to internal teams and retail partners
Lead and mentor a team of category managers/analysts, fostering a
high-performance culture
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Category Management, Sales Strategy, or
Insights within the CPG industry, including 3 years in a leadership
role
Strong background with retail partners across various sectors
(grocery, mass, club, convenience, e-commerce)
Expertise in syndicated data sources and retailer-specific data
platforms
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment
